British Airways announced that it will soon be launching a direct flight service from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport China to London’s Heathrow Airport. The service is said to start from September 22, 2013.
British Airways has also announced the ticket for sale if booked by January 6. The flights start from just about £500. Four-cabin Being 777 will be used in serving the passengers. It will have First class, business class, world traveler plus(premium economy) and world traveler(economy).
Chengdu is one of China’s rapidly growing cities and its economy is booming since the 90s. With the introduction of this flight and given the high rate of growth in Chengdu, the travelers are most likely to get benefitted by this service. Also, this would be a good avenue for travelers.
